Festive Ice Wreath

Be the Hostess with the Mostess this holiday season by making a super simple and easy festive ice wreath! This is a surefire way to elevate any punch bowl. It’s not only pretty and functional, but it gets even prettier over time as it melts and starts to break apart. All you need is a handful of items and ingredients, and you can make a punch bowl the centerpiece of your table.

Here’s how easy it is. You’ll need:

  • bundt pan (plain or fancy, it’s up to you)
  • edible, festive, seasonal garnishes (think: cranberries, citrus slices, rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks)
  • water
  • a freezer

Layer garnishes in the bottom of the bundt pan. Cover everything with water, and freeze overnight.

When you’re ready to serve your punch, grab a large pot and partially fill with hot water. Set the bundt pan in the pot for a few seconds, until the ice wreath melts ever-so-slightly that it pops right out of the bunt pan. Place the ice wreath in your punch bowl, and pour the beverage over it. Voila! You’ll be party-ready in no time.

You may already have a favorite punch recipe in mind, but if you are looking for ideas, Good Housekeeping has plenty! My personal favorite is anything citrusy and bubbly. Make sure you adjust your festive ice wreath garnishes according to the flavors in your punch.

Happy Hosting!
